What is a cursed weapon in Assassin's Creed origins?
Cursed weapons are scattered throughout the lands of Egypt in Assassin's Creed: Origins. They are powerful and rare items that come with a cost. Using a cursed weapon will increase Bayek's damage output 200%, however, it will cap his health at 33%.
A cursed weapon will deal a whopping 200 per cent more damage than normal - as in, an extra 200 per cent, meaning you damage is tripled. But the cost of that is your health will be capped at just 33 per cent, meaning you're trading two thirds of your health for another two times total damage.

As long as a cursed weapon isn't in either of your active slots, you won't be cursed. You can get rid of it by selling or disassembling it like any other weapon, unless it's a store item, then all you can do is hide it.

What do you get for completing Bayek's promise?
Finding all Divine Stone Circles is needed to complete Bayek's Promise Side Quest. This in turn rewards you with 3000 XP. The Stone Circle Locations are marked on the map via white question marks.
You require 4 keys in total. The final key is part of another quest at the end of the Phylakes quest chain. Once you have all 4 keys you get a new objective to unlock a chest lost at sea. This is what the Ornamented Key unlocks in Assassin's Creed Origins.
There are ten total Phylakes patrolling the world of Assassin's Creed Origins, all ranging from roughly level 20, to level 40. Should you take down one of them (which we'll get onto further down), you'll initiate the Phylakes' Prey quest, which tasks you with killing all ten Phylakes scattered around the world map.
